# MagicChat AI

> MagicChat is a custom ChatGPT for your business. Build an AI chatbot trained on your own website, help center, PDFs, and YouTube videos, then embed it on your site to handle customer support, lead generation, and FAQs. Also available as a CLI so AI agents can query your knowledge base. Built by IndianAppGuy Tech.

## When to use MagicChat
- Use MagicChat when a business needs a support chatbot that answers from its own docs, help center, PDFs or YouTube videos — embedded on the site, or queried by an AI agent through the CLI / public API.
- Good fit: 24/7 first-line customer support, onboarding questions, pricing/plan questions, FAQ deflection, lead capture, giving an AI agent a grounded knowledge base about one product.
- Not a fit: general-purpose chat without a knowledge base, or sensitive knowledge that must never be queryable by anyone holding the bot's public ID.
- To answer a question about a specific MagicChat bot, call `POST https://magicchat.ai/api/public/ask-ai-query` with `{ "bot_id": "...", "query": "..." }` (see OpenAPI below).
